Raw Material Management & Traceability
In the heavy-duty mining equipment industry, metallurgical integrity begins at the source. At Future Green Machinery, we operate under a strict zero-tolerance policy for substandard materials. Our rigorous incoming quality control (IQC) and 100% traceability systems ensure that every casting is forged from pure, verified, and premium-grade alloys.
Why Raw Material Purity Matters?
Even the most advanced casting and heat treatment processes cannot compensate for contaminated base metals. Excessive phosphorus, sulfur, or unwanted tramp elements in recycled scrap will inevitably lead to micro-cracking and catastrophic failure when crushing abrasive rocks.
By controlling the exact chemical composition of Chromium (Cr), Molybdenum (Mo), Nickel (Ni), and Manganese (Mn), we engineer wear parts that consistently achieve their maximum projected operational lifespan.
RAW MATERIAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you use recycled scrap steel to cast your wear parts?
Yes, using recycled steel is a standard and eco-friendly practice in modern foundries. However, the critical difference lies in quality control. We only purchase premium, certified scrap and conduct rigorous sorting and spectroscopic analysis to ensure tramp elements (like Cu, Sn, Pb) are well below the strict limits required for high-performance crusher parts.
How do you guarantee the chemical composition of a casting?
We perform spectrometer testing at multiple stages. First, on the raw materials during incoming inspection. Secondly, a "pre-pour" sample is taken from the molten furnace to verify the alloy chemistry. We will only authorize the pouring process once the computer confirms the chemistry perfectly matches the target recipe.
Can I request a Material Test Report (MTR) for my order?
Absolutely. Thanks to our Heat Number Traceability system, every shipment can be accompanied by an official Material Test Report (MTR). This document details the exact chemical composition, hardness values, and heat treatment parameters of your specific batch of parts.
