2. The Spider Assembly (Top Support)

- Spider Arm Shield & Arm Liner: Armor that protects spider arms from rock abrasion.

3. The Core Motion System (Eccentric)
The mechanical heart of the cone crusher, converting rotational energy into the immense gyratory crushing motion.
- Mainshaft & Sleeve: The central axis supporting the crushing head.
- Eccentric & Eccentric Bushing: The offset sleeve forcing the mainshaft to gyrate.
- Eccentric Support Plate: Critical thrust-bearing surface carrying heavy dynamic loads.
- Gear: The large bevel gear driving the eccentric assembly.
4. Power Transmission (Pinion Assembly)
This module connects your electric motor's power to the internal crushing mechanics.
- Pinionshaft & Pinion: The horizontal drive shaft and bevel gear meshing with the main gear.
- Pinion Shaft Housing & Bearings: Robust casing supporting high-speed rotational loads.
- Pinion Oil Seal: Keeps gear oil contained within the transmission housing.
- Sheave: The large V-belt pulley mounted on the outer end.
5. Hydraulic Adjustment & Support
Modern cone crushers rely on hydraulic systems to adjust the closed-side setting (CSS) and provide overload protection.
- Piston & Cylinder: The heavy-duty hydraulic ram raising/lowering the mainshaft.
- Mainstep Plate & Step Washer: The thrust bearing stack supporting the mainshaft's weight.
- Lockout Spacer: Used to mechanically lock shaft height during maintenance.
6. The Dust Sealing System
Rock dust is the enemy of precision bearings and gears. This internal protection system is critical for keeping contaminants out of your lubricating oil.
